I am a project manager/systems analyst by day, sporadic writer by night, a Catholic-husband-father-Red Sox fan 24/7/365.
On my old blog I described myself in this manner: A student of history, I am an amateur at satire and am prone to occasional bouts of excessive sarcasm. A seeker of Truth, this blog presents my hopefully humorous, sometimes witty view of things religious, political, and anything else that happens to cross my addled mind. But always with the goal to make you think.
After a lot of thought I’ve decided that the description still fits. I am also a die-hard member of Red Sox nation as I have been since watching my first baseball game on television, one from the 1975 World Series between the Sox and the Reds.
I am a voracious reader and am an aspiring author. Among my favorites is G.K. Chesterton and I thought it fitting, for now, if I quote him in order to wrap up this page.

I *love* G.K. Chesterton and aspire to be a seeker of truth as well. I was raised Protestant but have many Catholic friends (my high school boyfriend became a Dominican priest) and have many, many questions about God and for God when someday I (hopefully) meet him. Yes, now that I’ve gotten into blogging, I too would find it hard to quit. I’ve never been someone who can pump out a post a day, though. 😛 Thanks for reading my story. It was pretty traumatic. But I am lucky, and God is good. It could have been so much worse.

I love it!! Sarcasm, wit, the search for Truth!!! What more does a man need??!!! LOL! It was a joy to read your intro, but also your article “Same as it ever was.” I wish, I had that kind of wit. My Father-in-law had it, my wife and kids have it, but me?? I can always hope although the years are rushing by! Oh well!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I asked the Lord to send those by whom I can gain inspiration, insight, and even learn a thing or two at my age and He has been so faithful. I will be putting your site on my Links pages and I WILL be coming back and reading more. I also am an avid reader, it is something I have always loved doing. Most of what I read today, doesn’t have paper pages though!
I do have a lot of blogs I follow, so I usually take a couple of days a week, just to catch up and since I have so many, it takes me a bit to get around, but I do. I am looking very much to reading more of what you have to say. I believe this is what bonds the Body of Christ together, our communion and sharing, not our denominational tags or titles. I have always looked for inspiration from my brothers and sisters of all Faith-based denominations and organizations.
